BlackFlame49 was the quickest learner. He had quickly grasped his limits and power The_An0nym had given him. The others were a bit slower, but quickly catched on. It didn’t take long before everyone knew how to control their skills. It took The_An0nym a while before he had passed out all the weapons. When they had finally settled down, The_An0nym raised his voice.
“Now that you are all armed, let’s discuss the plans. Black and Pup, come to my office,” The_An0nym announced.
“You have an office?” BlackFlame49 asked.
“I borrowed it,” The_An0nym replied. They followed him into a small room. SuperPup1 closed the door behind them.
“You guys are a team. You’ll enter through the main gate, destroy any processors you see, and run when you see a guard,” The_An0nym said.
“Is that everything?” SuperPup1 asked. The_An0nym didn’t reply, but instead took out a small device and pushed a button. A hologram appeared before them. It showed them an ugly building and two smaller things beside it.
“This is the main building.” The_An0nym said and pointed at the big ugly building.
“Looks so tiny,” BlackFlame49 exclaimed.
“Do you see these little rectangular things beside it?” The_An0nym asked. BlackFlame49 nodded.
“That building is bigger than a small mountain,” The_An0nym said.
“What? That little thing?” SuperPup1 asked.
“Yep. And half an ocean can fit into the bigger building,” The_An0nym said, unfazed.
“Your kidding, right?” BlackFlame49 asked, but he already knew the answer, which made his hopes slowly sink.
“How did they even build this thing?” SuperPup1 asked.
“This is a data world. With the right code, you can build a building ten thousand times bigger than this,” The_An0nym replied.
“So, what are we going to do?” BlackFlame49 asked.
“You’ll use this passage to protect the main group,” The_An0nym replied, and pressed another button. SuperPup1 had already lost track of which button does what. The hologram zoomed in on the building and changed into an X-ray. A red string zig-zagging through the hallways showed them their path.
“I’ll never remember that,” SuperPup1 complained.
“No need to. I’ll give you a GPS,” The_An0nym replied.
“Oh, okay,” BlackFlame49 said.
“Anyway, if there is a change of plan, I’ll be sure to tell you,” The_An0nym replied.
“Just a question, but what is in the big building?” SuperPup1 asked.
“Most of the building is actually inaccessible. It is the housing place of the old system. The thing sticking out from the top is actually an elevator leading to the new system. That is our target,” The_An0nym explained.
“And what is in the smaller buildings?” BlackFlame49 asked.
“It’s a prison for Glitches,” The_An0nym said.
“What are glitches?” BlackFlame49 asked.
“Imitations of active users,” The_An0nym replied.
“What do you mean, ‘imitations’?” SuperPup1 asked.
“Please leave,” The_An0nym replied. SuperPup1 and BlackFlame49 obeyed.

“Why would I want to join the system? I’m happy as I am,” Happy097 replied.
“⁄= 0 ⁄_ ⁄ ¿⁄° ⁄•⁄ ⁄_⁄ ⁄(⁄( ⁄-( ⁄(⁄,” the voice replied.
“What’s with that creepy voice?” BrickAssassain7 asked. Chuckling replied.
“I’ll try it another way… If you don’t join, then I’ll kill your friends,” the voice replied.
“Were you also threatened like this?” WizardBuilds1 asked.
“Can’t remember,” the voice replied.
“Then what do you remember,” WizardBuilds1 asked.
“Pain,” the voice replied.

Cakery thought that he saw a figure in the distance. He approached it. It didn’t take long before the figure noticed Cakery, and ran away.
“Wait! Where are you going?” Cakery shouted. The figure didn’t stop. Cakery began to run, and from that point it only took seconds before he had reached the figure.
“Stop. It’s me! Cakery! No need to run away from me!” Cakery exclaimed. The figure halted and looked up. Cakery, towering over the figure, didn’t seem to have recognized him yet.
“Cakery?” the figure asked.
“Yes,” Cakery said, finally recognizing the figure, but still couldn’t remember his name.
“Where are we?” the figure asked.
“We are in Mecabricks,” Cakery replied, then finally remembered the name.
“Do you know where the others are?” the figure asked.
“YellowFlame37, no I don’t,” Cakery replied. YellowFlame37 looked at him with a bit of confusion at the rather useless reference of his name.
“I’m sure we’ll find them,” Cakery replied. Suddenly a bluish circle opened and a horse with wings and a horn trotted out of the portal.
“What is that?” YellowFlame37 asked. The horse glared at him.
“That, my friend, is a pegasus. The better question is, who is that?” Cakery replied. The pegasus looked expectantly at Cakery. Cakery, still trying to make sense of his earlier statement, had said it to look more experienced in the eyes of YellowFlame37. He hadn’t even thought for a moment that what he had said was true. He was more curious to how the pegasus had arrived through a portal that was now closed.
“Can you teleport?” Cakery asked the pegasus, but didn’t get a reply. The pegasus was still staring at him expectantly.
“Oh! I remember! Isn’t that Deada–… Daelad– … Daedalus?” YellowFlame37 asked. The pegasus neighed loudly in agreement and nodded.
“No way… Your thinking way to abstract,” Cakery replied. Daedalus turned around.
“See, he’s already leaving,” Cakery said. Daedalus kicked with his hind hooves while aiming for Cakery’s legs. He hit, and Cakery lost his balance. There was a loud crash as he fell onto the floor.
“What was that for?” Cakery asked. Daedalus neighed happily.

Nice and I still can’t read the computer-type message! Can I ask if this is the mind-bending part?
I know with my story the plot always ends up being later or longer than I expect.

WizardBuils1 - xD Thanks!!

Sorry, what I was asking is if this was mind-bending part or that got changed? It’s still great, but I didn’t see a shocking development, if I’m being honest.
It feels rude to ask but I was just wondering.

WizardBuils1 - What I meant with 'mind shattering' are the next (many) chapters, since they'll all split up and do different things and so on
WizardBuilds1

Oh, okay. I get it.
Sorry to doubt you, I was just expecting something that changed the course of the story in this chapter.

so this black character isn't actually the system, so I'd have to ask the system to rent a room. also, don't check, there's nothing at the top. it's just 3 hours of left clicking.Image

The string was indeed super long. I have an iPad with a touchscreen, but it still took many furious swipes to reach the top!

SlimBrick1 - Thanks!! & Think of it as this way: You can Relax and Chill while the others have to do the hard work xD

Guys when you zoom out it’s so much easier to see the to[ of the string. The real question is what is the mustard stain on the floor?

Anon, you’re a monster. It is actually impossible to reach the top, I even went into editor to find it. At a certain height it stops letting you go up.
