Lego produced several appealing airline promotional sets in 1996, but this no. 1818 'Starliner,' also known as 'Aircraft and Ground Support Equipment and Vehicle,' was hands down the best for the aircraft design. It was sold through several airlines, such as Finnair and Austrian Airways.

The 200-parts model came with a propeller plane, and a multipurpose mini trailer with towball connector (functions either as a pushback tug for the airplane, or carrying around a boarding ramp). Minifigures include a pilot, a driver for the trailer, and one passenger with a suitcase.

The aircraft has a pretty standard hull, with three passenger seats and the entire top and one of the side panels opening on hinges to gain access to the interior. But Starliner has a much more aggressive-looking cockpit, with a larger panoramic windshield and tiny underwings. The tail section is finished in a sort of a 'glider' design: low-cut slick rare end without a tale, plus two huge rudders on each wing. Very distinct and original look! To me, it reminds what would typically be an alternative build, suggested in the illustrations at the end of the booklet.

The build is about 97-98% correct, and most missing parts are fully substituted.
