Annis Motorsport Elegy RH Works, #23 (driven by early Kirito Rensun, race car driver famous for his line of subsequent victories in JGTC and JTCC), is an extensively modified Annis Elegy RH3 of '82 made for Japan-only Group Five championship called HyperShapes series. While most of HS series cars were based on production vehicles in terms of exterior, they could differ from its stock counterparts so much that they wouldn't even fit for public roads usage.
Elegy RH Works of 1982 season used an inline-6 turbocharged 3,5-liter (made from 2,8L Elegy RH3 powertrain) engine with more than 580 PS output at 7500 RPM, combined with extremely wide aerodynamic kit made from composite materials in order to reach 1100 kg of curb weight. Rensun brought 3 wins for his team participating in this car, and 4 more next year with slightly modified version of the same Elegy.
