I didn't really think about it though!!

Its volumetrics in blender. I only recently learnt how to do it but volumetrics adds 'dust' to a render so that lighting has that effect

To use volumetrics set up a scene as usual but in the shaders tab add a "principled volume" node and plug it into the volume part of the output node then add the lighting and change the settings around a bit til it works, ive found that between 0.001 and 0.0001 density works without the scene being too dark but it will be different depending on the lighting youre using
