Res-Q was a short-lived subtheme in Lego Town, presented in January 1998, with around ten sets produced it total. I think it was well-designed, included some original vehicles and tbh I'm a bit surprised it didn't stay around for longer.

The set no. 6473 "Res-Q Cruiser" or "Res-Q Hovercraft" was the second-largest in the series but, in my opinion, the coolest. A massive hovercraft has a cargo space with a ramp to transport a tiny excavator buggy in the back, a bunch of storage to keep all the additional tools, and two large canopies. Very cool design and excellent build on each of the vehicles.

The inventory included quite a few unique Lego pieces I never saw before, especially rubber bumpers and specialty bricks to mount them, as well as a few smaller connectors. So the resulting build is about 92% exact, but I am quite pleased with how it turned out, and I think I came up with good MOC-alternatives to substitute all the missing parts. All of them are grouped with a caret '^' symbol for easy reference.

From the official Lego catalog: "With rock and jack hammer, pneumattic cutter, night glasses and fire extinguisher the Res-Q Team are fully equipped to tackle any major situation. The excavator’s crane arm can be mounted with any of the tools for use. The hovercraft is a real beast of a machine complete with all the latest technology, no situation is too big for this team!"
