Here's my take on the main antagonist of the first "Cars" movie, Chick Hicks. I must say, Chick's boxy, late '70s/early '80s style lent itself amazingly to a LEGO format, and was a lot easier to figure out than Lightning McQueen. I'm just gonna say from now, though, that I WON'T be recreating all of those little contingency sponsor stickers all over his body. That would just be a nightmare. I'm just going to focus on making the decals for his primary sponsor and his racing number.

Update: Chick is done! I'm really happy with how he turned out. My only real gripe is that the studs in between his grille and bumper kinda make him look like he's got these weird green teeth. But there's really nothing I can do about it.

Will you do King? Or Mater? Even though he isn't very speedy?

I'm actually working on Mater right now! I've kind of run into a roadblock (if you'll excuse the car pun), but I'm sure I'll be able to work things out. I may do the King eventually, but I gotta say, that giant spoiler intimidates me.
